Dear potential friend/lover, I am a hearing lesbian. I am an ASL student at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College under Kim Spatz. signing is a LOT of fun for me (maybe because it's the only foreign language I've ever been able to wrap my head around) but the in class experience and the cultural assignments are just not enough to teach me everything I want to know. And, though Kim is amazing, how much can you really ask your teacher? I would love to find a friend (possibly a girlfriend) who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing and experienced with ASL as their first language. I want to learn more than just what is taught in the classroom.
