I have dated and to no avail they just think they can find someone better. I think that they don't know what they're losing. I am proud to be deaf and proud to be a mom and yet I want to be a proud girlfriend/wife someday. I have so many traits that men want but don't know how to deal with the reality of it. I do speak but can sign as well. I think having both world helps me have a job and stability in my independence. I'd love to meet someone who does know sign language not just the alphabet. It would make me happy to know I can communicate with something I was taught first. The sign language will be a part of me
. I keep it real and show what I feel. I believe words and action goes in hand n hand. I believe in truth, honesty, communication and an open mind. You will go far with those things.
