I am looking to get married and start a family - Don't worry, I won't propose on the first date, it is just that i want to be clear up front. I'm not looking to hang out and h--k up and see where it goes. I did all of that and I'm interested in being grown up now. I own my own house, have a Masters in mental health counseling and enjoy working with teens and families. I've lived in Oklahoma city for the past 36 years and like it! I've lived in Washington DC and Baltimore, but longer in Oklahoma city than anywhere else. I like to date local women in person. I've tried online dating in the past, but never been interested in women out of state or out of the country. i figure they are not serious if they are trying to date someone far away and the last thing they want is for me to visit them in person. I enjoy travel, but never get to do much of it. Would love to take a cruise and see the Caribbean!I love the beach and enjoyed going to Florida and seeing the beaches in St. Augustine. I love dancing, partnered dancing in particular. I like going to live theater productions, but not loud concerts. I'm open to new experiences and would like to know what you enjoy. I'm Catholic and my faith is important to me, but also enjoy other spiritual traditions and have been to Buddhist monasteries and learned much about mindfulness and meditation. I'm a recovering alcoholic with 5 years of sobriety this July. I chair meetings and am enjoying sober living.
