We were both born and raised in Seattle, Washington. As unique individuals in our community, we feel proud to embrace the Deaf culture as one that has significantly shaped our lives. Although we may not be Deaf ourselves, we grew up with friends and relatives who were Deaf and Hard of Hearing. These relationships proved to be some of the most rewarding, and we continue to value our involvement in a culture we feel so connected with.
