I am a disabled retired guy into astronomy, weight-training, science fact and fiction, poetry, and philosophy. I get around by bus, commuter train, and recumbent adult tricycle. I eat basically anything as long as it suits the human digestive system. I am looking for someone to be my friend in the business of practicing ASL. It has been 50 years since the last time I used this stuff. As for the stuff I used in the meantime, I used hearing aids, swiss cheese english, lip reading, contextual body language, etc, etc... Because I didn't use ear protection when I operated power tools in the early 1990's, I acquired tinnitus, so the hearing aids become useless. And I wind up gradually losing what hearing I had all my life. I am practicing ASL every day. I find I need to get into the local Deaf community and become proficient in the stuff to use it properly. Anbd it would not hurt to find someone I fall in love with....
