I am looking to get more involved in the Deaf community. I was raised in a hearing family so my signing is rudimentary, but I am learning more everyday! I have degenerative bilateral hearing loss and I've worn hearing aids in both ears since I was 3.
I love animals. I currently work as a reptile keeper for a small exhibit, and I volunteer for a rehabilitation center for birds of prey like eagles, owls, falcons, hawks and vultures. I really like the rehabilitation aspect of captive wild animal care, and I am thinking about vet school. I also like horseback riding, fishing, white-water rafting, and hiking.
I'm looking for someone under 30 who is intelligent, open-minded and funny. I'm looking for friendship first, and then possibly a relationship. Don't be afraid to email me!
