Laid back and easy going, but would love to spend time getting to know you while enjoying all that the Northwest has to offer. I'm active, energetic, and live life to the fullest, whether it's hanging out at the beach, a lazy day on the lake, or a day spent remodeling my home... which is an ongoing activity. I love to travel, but at the end coming home is best.

I began losing my hearing in grade school, and am now almost deaf. I lip read fluently, and do sign some although I'm very slow...

I don't consider myself a "religious" person but enjoy a great spiritually-centered lifestyle. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy life to the fullest, and find plenty to laugh about. It just gives me a deeper appreciation for everything that I encounter each and every day.

I currently live in the burbs, but surrounded by trees. I grew up on a farm and haven't lost those roots. Being out in nature is where I am happiest, whether fishing on the river, hiking the mountains, chopping firewood or stargazing from a kayak. Sitting in front of a fire at the end of the day comes in at a close second. I love kids, and enjoy volunteer projects with local youth organizations.

The current "man" in my life is my goofy cocker spaniel, Max. My normal free time activities are gardening and home remodeling (yeah, I'm doing it all myself...), fishing of any kind, and wandering the woods and nature trails of the Northwest. I love treasure hunting at estate sales and antique shops, and restoring things I find there. I'm not much of a golfer, but love the sport.

I'm not sure whether or not an "ideal" match even exists. Any relationship must be based on acceptance and daily compromise, as people are such unique creatures that finding two that agree on everything seems highly unlikely. A few must-haves for me, though, are honesty, integrity, and being able to view other people as more important than one's self. A sense of humor, common sense, and a love of the outdoors wouldn't hurt eithe
