Best decision of my life A lot of times when I sign with someone, the first thing they ask is which of my relatives is deaf, which is just sad. Something like 5-10% of people are deaf/hard of hearing? Why wouldn't I learn to communicate with them? I've never taken a class but rather learned from a friend then became more fluent when bartending and I had a regular who was deaf. It's such a fun language and can be much more expressive. I would love to learn more.
